Editorial Standards & How We Verify
Airlinecustomerservicenumber.com is an independent travel-information directory. This page explains who maintains it, how we source and check every phone number, and the principles we hold to — so you can judge the information for yourself.
Who maintains this directory
The directory is compiled and reviewed by Martin B., the site’s founder and editor, an independent researcher and writer. He does not work for any airline, the site is not a travel agency or a call center, and no airline has any control over what appears here. Questions about a listing go straight to the editor via the contact page.
How we verify phone numbers
Every customer service number in this directory is taken from the airline’s own publicly published contact information — its official website, help center or contact page — and cross-checked against other reputable references before it is listed. Each airline page shows the date its details were last reviewed. We re-check listings on a regular schedule, and when an airline changes status we update it promptly: when Spirit Airlines ceased operations, its page was changed the same week.
Our editorial principles
Accuracy comes first: we would rather list fewer airlines than publish a number we cannot stand behind. We are independent — any advertising on the site never influences which numbers we list. We never invent reviews, ratings or testimonials. We write in plain language for travelers, and we flag clearly how to avoid fake “airline customer service” numbers, because that scam is widespread.
Sources we rely on
Our information comes from airlines’ own official websites and contact pages, government and regulatory bodies such as the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Trade Commission, and established, reputable consumer-travel references. Where a guide explains your rights, it points to the underlying regulation.
Corrections policy
Phone numbers, hours and policies change. If you find something on this site that is out of date or incorrect, please tell us through our contact page. We re-check reported listings against the airline’s official source and update the page and its review date.
How the site is funded
This directory is free to use. To cover hosting and upkeep, some pages display third-party advertising. Advertising is clearly part of the page layout and has no bearing on the customer service numbers we publish.
